Submit Your Research

Your research will go through a comprehensive review by your peers, professors, and experts in the field of your research.

Note: Submission to the International High School Journal of Research is not dependent on acceptance into the Student Research Program. Any individual may submit to be published in the official IHSJR. Only select submissions from the Student Research Program will be published in the official IHSJR journal. Other research produced from the Student Research Program is published separately. Please do not apply to the Student Research Program here. Click here to apply to the program.

Listed on the right (below if on a phone) is the usual timeline of a submission.

Typical submissions to the IHSJR can take anywhere from 3-7 months on average. However, depending on the time it takes you to review your feedback and make the required corrections, this time can be shorter or longer.

Additionally, depending on the number of submissions we are in the process of reviewing, the time it takes for you to receive your feedback may be longer.

Research from any field (Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Arts, etc.) may be submitted. Depending on what field you have done your research in, this submission timeframe may change slightly as well. We will notify you if there are any significant delays.

To submit your research, click on the button below. You will be directed to a form where you can submit your work.

Submission Guidelines:

Your work will not be accepted if it does not abide by the following rules.

- Your work must be the product of your own research. Although we encourage you to build on previous research, plagiarism is not allowed. If you are discovered to have plagiarized, your application will be revoked and you will be prohibited from submitting your research to the IHSJR in the future.

- Your work must be in English. To allow a greater audience to understand your work, we ask that you submit your work in English.

- Your work must be appropriate. The IHSJR is a journal catered towards students. If you have any questions, please email us at TheIHSJR@gmail.com.

- Your work should be submitted as a PDF.

- Your work should be in Times New Roman, 12pt, single-spaced, 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins. Please do not worry about your formatting at this stage. It is okay if sections or sentences span several pages.

- Your work should be, at maximum, 10 pages in length. Shorter manuscripts are accepted. Please email us before submission if you think you will need an exception for this at TheIHSJR@gmail.com.

To submit your manuscript, you will need to have a Google Account. If you are unable to create a Google Account for any reason, please instead email the IHSJR at TheIHSJR@gmail.com. We will be able to help you out via email.
